Busy Week

So the last week has been pretty busy. Monday was my 29th birthday and I had to work - ugh! Luckily the day was pretty easy and I was done by 2:30p.m. Yesterday mom came up and helped me take down the Christmas stuff - I can't believe it was still up! This week I have to finish up a layout swap and make some cuts for some friends on the good 'ol cricut; I hope to get all that done by this weekend and get my hallway repainted...then I can start on my bedroom and craft room! Yippee! Why does it seem like I always have so many things to do on my list :o)

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

I made this card for my Grandpa who turned 88 years young on Jan. 3rd. Pretty Simple, but I like how it turned out!

Here is our kitty, Kit-Kat!

She is an indoor only cat, but does like to venture out back every now and then just for a few minutes! She stays close by and has never left the backyard...if she goes too far, the dogs take care of chasing her right back into the house!

Long work week....

UGH! Going back to work after the Christmas holidays has proved to be busier than I anticipted! On a positive note, I have picked up my 3rd set of premature triplets that I am now the provider for! I love working with all my families that have multiples...two times, and three times, the fun!

I can't believe how lazy I am being this year when it comes to taking down my Christmas decorations...it's still up...piling up in my living room. HELP! :)
I should have never rearranged and organized my scrapbooking room first! Now all I want to do is go in and play with all my new stamps and cricut cartridges!

Well, off to play with the pups and fix some dinner!

Whipper Snapper Thanks!

One of my new-found favorites - Whipper Snapper stamps! This one is called Mike and Ike go fishin'. Cuttlebug snowflakes used for the background and you guessed it...stickles for some sparkle (though it's hard to tell here)!

This card was made using some of the new Penny Black stamps, JOTS cartridge for the star and more stickles....can you tell I just love the sparkle!

Warm Winter Wishes...

A Christmas Thank-You card that I sent to my grandparents in South Dakota. I used JOTS for the polar bear and star, glittered brads and lots of Stickles! Hope you like it!

Doggie gate signs

Whew! Now that we have 3 dogs, I decided to make a sign for both gates. This was hopefully to keep meter men from leaving the gates unlatched as I'm sure our 100 lb. lab would just love to push them open!

I used my cricut to cut the vinyl, spray adhesive and coating and just turned over a plain metal sign I bought at Lowe's!

Tear Bear Birthday

I made this card for a friend of mine...I find the tear bear's very easy to make and just love the way they turn out. The face is a Peachy Keen stamp, my cricut was used for the words, cupcake and presents...and of course, stickles for the added glitz!

Happy 88th Birthday Grandpa!

I have started this blog to share my work with my out of town family and friends. I hope you all enjoy! I am trying to do more scrapping and crafting this year, as always, new ideas and techniques welcome.....along with positive critiques 8-)

I am excited to get this blog going but it will take some time as my caseload at work is picking up and my dogs get so much of my attention! Please bear with me as I get this started...and a big "Thanks!" to Crystal for the inspiration to blog again.
