Glitter ornaments

So my swap partner sent me awesome glass ornaments with one named for each one of my pets and a snowflake on the other side....SO, I embellished them a little bit more! I made DH run with me to the store last night to pick up the floor wax to do these! Love them and will definately be buying more!

Coca-Cola Mailbox

Okay, I think my swap partner has seen most of her items now...This is a Target mailbox that I embellished for her in Coca-Cola - It was her kitchen if I remember right, that is decorated with that theme! Inside were 5 Snickers bars for her - her favorite candy bar! This was done with paper, stamps, ribbon and a coke bottle top on the mailbox flag! Hope she liked it!

Whoa! Way Too Busy!

So, in the past couple of weeks, I have been way too busy to create much of anything. My job has become more stressful with fewer people to do the job and more demand of families in need of our services. With Christmas just two weeks away, the house has been decorated, gifts bought and wrapped, cookies being made, and the ever last few gifts that need to be made and mailed... I'm exhausted just thinking of everything left to be done!

We always take the dogs to get their pictures with Santa at PetsMart, but here are a couple of them in front of our tree at home. Santa pics are coming this weekend! Hope to post lots of pics after the holidays of the gifts I have been making! Can't spoil the surprises, LOL!

Tinkerbell 1st Bithday!

First let me say, I do not like working with piecing and layering with anything smaller than 3 1/2", LOL! But this card was important so I did it...Tink was cut at 2 3/4" to fit this card!

This was made for a little girl that I work with, who came into this world prematurely because of a tragic car accident and no one knew if she would survive! Not only did she live, but she is developing beautifully! This Tinkerbell card is for her 1st birthday!

Been on a hiatus!

So I haven't been posting in awhile...I'm busy working on a swap and can't post the things I've been making yet. I'll definatley get things posted after my swap partner gets her packages! Hope everyone is doing well and looking for to Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales. My husband and I will definately be stalking Michael's for the rumored cartridge sale!

Decorated clip!

So, so simple! Took some scrap paper, glue, and ribbon and that's it! I think its cute for a quick gift idea, maybe as part of a set, maybe a bow on a package, make them kitchen themed for a recipe card holder, etc!

Cocoa Mugs! Yummy!

I made these Cocoa mugs for our local craft mall too! I hope they are good sellers -priced at $2.50 ea. I cut each mug out by hand, ran them through the cuttlebug, some stickles, deco., ribbons and done! Each spoon I dipped in melted chocolated and sprinkled with bits of peppermint! Add a packet of cocoa and there you have it! I love the way they turned out!

Hershey Bar sliders

I've been making these Hershey bar sliders to sell at the local craft mall this holiday season! VERY easy to make and I think they will sell; but what is the right price???

Candy Scarecrows!

I made these up today for a craft mall! I think they are just too cute! Some have faces, others don't...Yummy!

Trick or Treat card

Halloween card I did last night with a stamp my mom had purchased from an ebay seller, trick or treat from a Studio G clear set, nestabilities, paper from an older fall paper stack and a couple of adhesive tabs to finish it off! I love the simple way it came out! Now, what to do with it :)

Goldilocks!

Sleeping at 18 months in my Grandpa's favorite rocking chair! We would been up on vacation and no doubt, I must have been worn out! I could not think of a title for this one, so I had a little help from some wonderful ladies on the cricut messageboard...I hope it makes sense to you!
I used My Community, Lyrical Letters and Calligraphy cartridges, stickles and patterned paper from the Boy's Nursery Stack!

Happy Fall!

Quick card using the Peachy Keen scarecrow stamp (so cute!) Colored and blended with gamsol, inked the edges, layered some papers, added some ribbon and viola! On the inside there is also a small round pumpkin stamp punched, layered and popped!

Splish-Splash!

I remember my mom saying, we were taking a walk and I just sat down in the puddle! Her reaction was to say, Oh, Melissa! LOL, Don't know who exactly snapped the picture, but the caught it at just the right moment!

Stroller Rides!

So, apparently when I was little, I thought it was fun to give our puppy, Missy, stroller rides, LOL! For this layout I used Bazzil Bling and patterned papers from the Boys Nursery Stack. The cut and font are from A Child's Year cartridge and I used a MS Bunny punch along the purple strips (hard to tell in the pics though). I added a few extra buttons and bows to finish it up!

Backyard Beauty!

I think I got my groove back, LOL! This, of course, is me as a toddler in our backyard! I always love pictures of kiddos this age in overalls - so cute! Instead of using the letters I cut out using A Child's Year, I used the background of the glimmer spray paper! Also used a MS punch along the paper, cricut cuts for the flowers, making memories clips and some gemstones for the last added touch. Simple, yet cute :)

Finally created again!

So I've been in quite the crafting slump that past couple of weeks and just never felt like doing a thing! DH and I are trying to find property to build a house, work is crazy busy and trying to clean sweep through our current home and declutter some things! So, to get back in the groove, I sat down tonight and created this layout. Very simple; may still add a few things to the red layout, like a Santa or Christmas tree, not sure yet.

Discovery

Outdoor Disovery ~ All papers were from 'The Laundry Line' by My Mind's Eye, cricut carts used were Storybook and Lyrical Letters, Martha Stewart paper punch, glimmer mist and Basic Grey 'Bling It' for the rhinestones! Do you think it needs something else in the circle or should I leave it just like it is?

Grandpa and Me

As the title says, Grandpa and Me around 1981, I love this picture as its just how I think of my Grandpa everyday. Their wallpaper and the rocking chair we would always sit in! Papers used from My Minds Eye, letting cut with the Storybook cartridge and then drowned in Martha Stewart brownstone glitter! Bazzill flowers and the hearts journaling tag from a swap I was in!

Craftsman home

So here is the home we are hoping to build later this year/early next year. We are going with building since we just can't find an existing home that meets our criteria! This is a 4 bed with an upstairs bonus room (that would of course be mine for scrapping!)

We are having a heck of a time finding a development that will accept the siding as the homes exterior. We are working with our builder and realtor to find an acceptable way to do this! Maybe the front siding and the rest brick masonry?!? Most every development in Oklahoma requires and 80-85% brick exterior - UGH! That's really difficult for a girl who likes craftsman/cottage style homes! We have found a 1 Acre lot that we like....now just down to the details! Keep your fingers crossed that this will all work out for us - I'm tired of stressing!

bEAuTifUL...

This layout was done using OLD papers, ribbon (how do you like that Crystal:) LOL). The dragonflies are stamps that are cut out, sprayed with glimmer mist and glitzed up using stickles and a few pearls. The letters are chipboard also sprayed with Meadow Green glimmer mist.

Also, pic of myself as a baby...I am finding that I like doing layouts other than my pups, who knew! I will be doing some of my most favorite pictures from infancy through childhood - those that don't have journaling on the front, probably will so on the back. I hope you like this one!

Telephone - Sepia Baby

Simple layout - simple, which means it took me 2 HOURS to complete! UGH! What do you think? The phone is from "From my Kitchen" cartridge and some Fancy Pants rub-ons, Bazzill flowers and dew drops...Not what I had pictured in my head when I had this print done in sepia tones, but it will work.

Playground Fun

These pictures are of my mother and myself as a little girl. I used layering from the Laundry Line by My Mind's Eye, A Child's Year and Storybook for the flourish, thickers, and dew drops.
Maybe I'll do some brown inking around the edges as well! Hope you like it!

I caved at Michael's!

So hubby drove me to Michael's Sunday to buy the ONE pink Expression they had in stock since they were on sale! They actually held it overnight for me. :) Hopefully I have someone that is purchasing my original E from me on Labor Day weekend!

It is pretty and cute, but oh my! What an impulse purchase!

Me at 2 months old!

Used a Martha Stewart punch around the edges, cricut cuts from Stamping Solutions (thank you Crystal), New Arrival and Storybook, cuttlebug on the carriage, some inking, prima flowers and pearls in the middle of the flowers! What do you think?!

This is a layout of my mother and I when I was, obviously, a baby! I inked the edges and added a few cricut cuts....does it need something else? Hope you like it!

Popcorn Bear card

Practice card with a few goofs, but I love the stamp! I purchased a set of 12 Popcorn Bear stamps and just love him - such a cute bear! Not too bad for a card made at 2 am :)

Water Treadmill Therapy

So here are a few pics of Oreo during his water treadmill therapy. This was done using the Paper Doll Dress Up, Camp Out, and Zooballoo cartridges. I have left some space for some cuts that I know I want once I get the Life is a Beach cart! I used lots of glimmer mist on the seaweed and diamond glaze over the fish!

I don't know if you can tell, but the therapy room was decorated in a fish, dolphin, sea theme...that's why I want to use the other cart too! There were fishy stickers all over the treadmill glass....cute!

QUICK layout with a bunch of Oreo pics that I wanted in a book but pics that didn't need there own page....so, I just put a mixture of them together!

Hard to distinguish the left pic is on red background paper and the right is on white with red inking along the edges....they are on the plain side, but I think they are busy enough with all those pictures! What do you think?
